COOKIES
What Atlas stores in your browser, and what it does not.
Summary
Atlas sets no advertising or tracking cookies. This page describes the small set of browser storage and third-party requests the product actually uses.
What Atlas stores in your browser
-
Theme preference (
atlas.mode, browser local storage): remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device. - Sign-in state: when you are signed in, our hosting and API layer maintains the technical session that keeps you signed in. It is used for authentication only.
Local storage items are not cookies: they are not sent to Atlas with each request, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
Third-party requests
- Google Fonts: Atlas loads its typefaces (Inter and JetBrains Mono) from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request and may set technical cookies. If you prefer to avoid this, most browsers and privacy extensions can block font requests; Atlas still works with system fonts.
What Atlas does not do
- No advertising cookies or pixels.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No selling or sharing of browsing data.
See the privacy page for the full data-handling description.
Clearing Atlas data
Clearing site data for atlasfly.io in your browser removes the theme preference and signs you out. Your logbook data is stored server-side with your account and is unaffected until you delete your account.
